Q: What separates BUCKS from other organizations on grounds?
A: The primary objective of many organizations is to provide community outreach; while BUCKS' primary objectives are oriented toward the advancement of Black males specifically.

Q: Are you a fraternity?
A: No. We are a group of young Black males that have a common interest in ourselves and our community. We do parallel a fraternity in many aspects; however, we have no Greek affiliations, no national recognition, and our organization doesn't require a formal induction or institute a process of recruitment. Since there are currently no University-recognized Black Fraternities available for undergraduates on campus, the notion that BUCKS is trying to compensate by chartering one is purely coincidental.

Q: Who can join?
A: Anyone in the University community who understands that our primary purpose is for the African-American community; however, we are geared towards African-America males.

Q: What qualifications do I need to be a member?
A: A qualified university student with a desire to grow mentally, share experiences, skills, and gain or further enhance leadership skills through positive reinforcement. A willingness to make a genuine commitment. To be a positive influence (set a positive example) for others. A willingness to express all opinions, yet accept those of others.
