Pediatric Cancer Care UVA Children's Hospital
At UVA Children’s Hospital, dedicated, family-orientated doctors and staff treat children and young adults with all types of cancer, including acute lymphocyte leukemia, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, neuroblastoma, and brain tumors. Each year, UVA pediatric oncologists see approximately 30-40 new cases of childhood cancer. For more information on pediatric cancer care at UVA Children's Hospital, please visit their website at http://www.uvachildrens.org.Every year, UVA Children's Hospital counts some 100,000 patient visits. Many of these are made by children with cancer. Their families come to UVA from across Virginia and beyond to find doctors, nurses, and staff who are experienced in caring for children. Pediatric cancer care is one of over 30 specialties at UVA Children's Hospital.
