Looking for a career that is compelling and allows you to help others? Interested in resolving conflict in the community? Join us for a “Mediation in the Workforce” career panel, hosted by University Mediation Services (UMS) and University Career Services (UCS) as part of Mediation Awareness Days (MAD) Spring 2010. Our panelists are mediators in a variety of fields, from law to government to education to business, and include the former adviser to Governor Tim Kaine, the Assistant Dean of Students at UVA, an intensive in-home clinician and business management professional, and a long-standing Charlottesville mediator who holds a nursing degree. Come find out from these distinguished mediation professionals how your degree and your interest in serving the community can lead you to a career in conflict resolution! |
