President's Welcome
Greetings,I would like to extend you a warm welcome to the University of Virginia's chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Our mission is "to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community" by focusing on the recruitment and advancement of black engineering students.
This academic year will be a very eventful year. I invite you to view our chapter calendar to acquaint yourself with our upcoming activities. Get involved with our chapter as we work to support and unify Blacks in engineering at the university and surrounding communities by developing professional and academic achievement while inspiring up-and-coming black youth.
